Responsible Use Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy covers how you may use the services of Nineninesix, Inc. ("we," "us"): the Tyger voice agent, including its live demo on our site, the Gepard text-to-speech API, voice cloning, the dashboard and the playground (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service; if the two conflict, the Terms win. It applies to you and to everyone who uses what you build on the Service, and you are responsible for their use too.

1. Follow the law

  • Don’t use the Service to break the law, or to help anyone else break it.
  • Don’t make or promote weapons, explosives or illegal drugs.
  • Don’t attack or disrupt critical infrastructure, such as power, water, healthcare or emergency services.
  • Don’t discriminate unlawfully in jobs, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare or other essential services.

2. Voices and consent

  • Only clone a voice you have the right to use: your own, or one whose owner gave you explicit, informed consent for that use.
  • Don’t impersonate a real person, famous or not, without their consent, or make it sound like someone said something they didn’t.
  • Don’t claim a person or organization endorses you when they don’t.
  • Don’t use generated speech to get past voice authentication, such as a bank’s voiceprint, or any other security check.

3. Be honest with the people your agent talks to

  • Don’t lead people to believe they’re talking to a human. Tell them it’s an AI wherever the law requires it, and wherever they’d reasonably assume otherwise.
  • No fraud, scams or phishing, including fake calls from banks, government agencies, companies or family members.
  • No deception about elections or voting: fake candidate audio, wrong voting dates or places, or attempts to keep people from voting.
  • Follow telemarketing and robocall laws, such as the TCPA in the US: get the consent they require before an AI-voiced call, and honour do-not-call lists and opt-outs.
  • Don’t spread false information meant to deceive.

4. Don’t harm people

  • No harassment, threats, bullying or hate toward people or groups.
  • Nothing that promotes or incites violence, terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Nothing that encourages self-harm or suicide, or explains how to do it.
  • Tyger hears everyone on a call. Follow the recording and consent laws wherever your calls take place, and don’t use the Service for unlawful surveillance or tracking.
  • Don’t use the Service to identify people by their voice, or to infer sensitive traits such as health, ethnicity, religion, political views or sexual orientation.
  • No social scoring, and no predicting whether someone will commit a crime.

5. Protect children

  • Nothing that sexualizes minors, ever. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
  • No grooming or exploiting minors, or exposing them to harmful content.
  • Don’t collect personal information from children under 13, or the age your law sets, without the consent the law requires.

6. Sexual content

No sexual content that involves minors, uses a real person’s voice or likeness without their consent, or depicts non-consensual acts.

7. High-stakes uses

  • The Service can be wrong. Don’t rely on it alone for medical, legal or financial advice, or for decisions that significantly affect people, such as jobs, credit, housing or insurance, without a qualified person reviewing them.
  • It isn’t an emergency or crisis service. Don’t offer it as one, or put it between people and the emergency help they need.

8. Using the Service fairly

  • Don’t get around rate limits, usage limits, billing or access controls, including the live demo’s sign-in and time limit.
  • Don’t open new accounts to evade a suspension or to collect sign-up credit more than once.
  • The live demo is for trying Tyger. Don’t automate it, scrape it or use it in place of the API.
  • Don’t probe, scan, overload or attack our systems, or send us malware.

9. Running the open weights yourself

The model weights you download are governed by their own license, not by this policy. We still ask you to follow it: the harms above are the same whoever runs the model.

10. Enforcement

We investigate reports and unusual usage. If we believe you have broken this policy, we may, with or without notice, block the content involved, limit or suspend your access, or close your account. Where the law permits or requires it, we may report violations to law enforcement or regulators and share the information related to them.

11. Report misuse

If you see the Service being misused, or it produces something unsafe, email safety@nineninesix.ai with what happened, where and when. Never send an API key. If the misuse involves something you built, we expect your help to stop it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service and its risks change. We will post the new version here and change the date above, and notify users of material changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
