1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the nineninesix.ai API service ("Service") at nineninesix.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Nineninesix, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us").
2. Description of Service
nineninesix.ai provides a Cartesia-compatible text-to-speech API that converts text input into audio output. The Service includes API access, a web dashboard, playground, and documentation.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. API Usage
You may use the API in accordance with these terms and any applicable rate limits. You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the content you submit for text-to-speech conversion.
5. Billing and Credits
The Service operates on a prepaid credit model. Credits are purchased in packages and deducted based on character usage. Purchased credits do not expire. Refunds for unused credits may be requested within 14 days of purchase.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your input text. Audio output generated by the Service is yours to use. nineninesix.ai retains all rights to the Service, its software, documentation, and branding.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. nineninesix.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or dashboard notification.
